10 Years in Digital Marketing with a Focus on SEA and SEO

I bring 10 years of digital marketing expertise, beginning as an SEO consultant at BlueGlass (2016-2020) where I helped brands increase their visibility on Google. Among my clients were companies and brands like Allianz, Interdiscount, Swisscom, Huawei, UPC, Mobility, Capri Sun and EAT.ch.

After BlueGlass I took over the responsibility of insourcing the digital marketing at Gutblick, a group of ophthalmology practices. At Gutblick, I focused more on paid marketing, especially Google Ads and Meta Ads. I was responsible for a yearly media spend budget of over 1M CHF. By optimising the performance marketing strategy, I managed to decrease the costs of aquiring new patients significantly.

Currently, I am looking for a new challenging job opportunity in online marketing. I am looking for a place that allows me to grow and further explore my potential.

Performance Marketing: SEA & Paid Social

I have 5 years of experience at managing paid campaigns in Google Ads (Search, Display, Demand Gen & PMax) and Meta Ads in the healthcare sector. Leveraging a broad range of targeting and bidding strategies and advanced techniques like scripts for automation and A/B tests allowed me to reach ambitious growth goals.

SEO & Content

At BlueGlass, I specialised on SEO projects that required a high technical expertise (like big e-commerce projects, single page applications and complex international websites). Aware that good, relevant content is the basis of visibility in search, I also led many content projects, from the rework of product pages to the establishment of new large-scale content strategies. All of them were based on thorough analyses of customer journeys and the needs that manifest in online searches.

Project & Account Management

During my career, I had the opportunity to be part of many large-scale web projects and steering interdisciplinary teams on a project base. For example, I was responsible for the implementation of SEO requirements for the website relaunch of microspot.ch. During several months, from the concept phase to go-live, I made sure that all stakeholders set their priorities right and that the defined milestones were reached in time. At Gutblick, I led a website redesign project in 2022. I directed and coordinated the work of an external web agency and the involvement of the internal marketing team in the process.

Marketing Analytics

I have many years of experience of building web tracking set-ups through Google Tag Manager, analysing the data in Google Analytics (GA4) and Excel/Google Sheets and presenting the data for marketing teams and C-level stakeholders in Looker Studio. One of my last projects at Gutblick involved the migration of all operational and financial reports from Looker Studio to PowerBI.

Mentorship

I was leading and guiding several interns during my career and introduced them to them to the deep and fascinating world of online marketing. I always tried to be a cooperative mentor who helps others to access their potential. Sharing my knowledge with others was already an important topic for me during my university years where I worked as a tutor and gave two seminars in the Philosophy of art.
